Seeing You and Your Mustache on Trump and Kushner's Board of Peace Stage

When I heard Trump, standing on the stage with all the jokers on his Zionist son-in-law's deceptively named "Board of Peace" say that you have billions of dollars and could sit here, there or anywhere you want to sit, I laughed. The lion of the jungle sleeps anywhere he wants to sleep, but you don't have billions of dollars and you ain't a lion. You're a pussy cat. If you've fooled Trump into thinking you've got billions of dollars, then I would happily bow to your cleverness.

Of course, I know very well that you are a liar, so it wouldn't surprise me if you'd lied to him. I certainly wondered whether you could beg or borrow a billion dollars from your brother-in-law in Dubai to join the Board of Peace, but I doubt it. Did you actually have to give or promise Trump the billion dollars he wants from each BOP member to have the pleasure of sitting on a stage with the Zionist pigs who have genocided well over 200,000 Palestinians including at least 20,000 children and destroyed Gaza? Do you honestly support the plan of Trump and his real estate buddies and son-in-law and dirty Mohammed bin Zayed of pouring cement over the dead bodies of children, women, the elderly and whole families to turn Gaza into a fancy hotel and casino resort on the Mediterranean Sea?

I doubt you are amongst those blackmailed by Epstein since you're shy about being naked and well aware of espionage tactics. I don't believe you would participate in his pedophile pursuits. I do suspect that you've been blackmailed by Israel for financial corruption, however, since Jewish bankers run the financial world. You and your entire family have been stealing the wealth of Bahrain for a long time.

And, of course, I know you were coerced by the U.S. to participate with others in the fake coup attempt in Bahrain in 1981. The Reagan administration had multiple purposes for helping do what Carter refused, specifically use you to blame and demonize Iran. The Navy wanted more power, the Juffair base for free since it would be, in fact, protecting the power of your family, just as the Brits had done before they supposedly pulled their military out.

(It was a coincidence that I was tutoring students at the DOD school in 1980 and '81 when Senator Ted Kennedy was complaining about the U.S. paying for use of the Juffair Base in Bahrain when we weren't there defending America. It's funny that the payment was just a few million dollars for renting the base, a drop into the Al Khalifa bucket. It should've been a fee for service! Now it's paid to U.S. military industries, isn't it?)

So here we are now. Your dyed hair and mustache on the stage made you look like Hercules Poirot in the small photos posted on Twitter, except that Poirot covered his bald head with a hat while you've taken a different route. All the rest of the men on stage had their hands at their sides while you clasped your hands together in front of you. I wondered if the grip was tight from embarassment from Trump calling attention to you and your imaginary billions.

I almost felt sorry for you, for the little show you're putting on to support our murderous pedophile president/dictator when surely you despise him. I continue to find it hard to believe the depths you've gone to, your own debasement in joining the Kushner/Trump "No Peace for Palestine" accords and now the signing on to this phony plan to make Trump the king of the world. You appointed yourself king of a tiny island (albeit a strategic island in the Persian Gulf) but you've now helped him appoint himself the king who seeks to destroy the United Nations and appoint his ugly daughter Ivanka as queen of the world when he drops dead.

(By the way, do you think Trump is going to save you if Bahrain is attacked because you allowed the use of the island for the U.S. and Israel to bomb Iran, including the use of Juffair Naval Base and the Shaikh Isa AirBase? He won't.)

Nothing Is Ever Finished

I learned today that the Holy Koran says "Nothing is ever finished." I was thinking that -- for my sister Laurie, whose memory is failing fast due to a neurological condition and who does not have letters, photos and diaries -- I would write some pieces about life and events in 1965 and 1966 when my family lived in Bahrain. Those were very important years in her life and mine, the memories of which are deep and lasting. For her, it is the story of her star-crossed relationship with your good friend at the time, Farouk Algosaibi, now gone, may he rest in peace. For her, that story is not finished and there may be parts which will surprise you.

Of course such an ambition to write again quickly led to thoughts of you, and of our young love and the years of love which followed, and of the fact that there seemed to be a war in West Asia, aka the Middle East, in between the times we resumed where we had stopped due to our circumstances and of being star-crossed lovers. I wrote journals during all those years, as a historian, but unpublished. Nothing is ever finished.

It is now 44 years since I've seen you in person and 60 years since we fell in love. Wars have abounded. Wars never finish, really. They are re-fought in military colleges. They resume on land and sea, although boundaries may change while the grudges linger on.

There was a 12-day war in June this year when Israel and the U.S. attacked Iran and were surprised by the strength of Iran's response. Trump sat on his gold toilet tweeting about it during the nights while Netanyahu begged him to declare a ceasefire after Tel Aviv suffered a few serious strikes, let alone the blow to egos.

There is an ongoing Israeli genocide enabled and supported by Biden and Trump, their European allies and with the aid of the cowardly Persian Gulf dictators like you, betraying the Palestinians and Palestine. The horrific, unspeakable genocide is daily murdering your Arab brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, grandparents, teenagers, little children, toddlers, babies and the unborn still in their mothers' wombs.

Isn't the death of a family in a tent set afire in the night by a missile or drone as unconscionable as Nazi's poisonous gas pumped into a closed room? Isn't the starvation and denial of water and medical care of 100s of 1,000s of your Arab brethren as unconscionable as the Nazi experiments on Jews and gypsies and homosexuals? Have you once looked at the photos of the children blackened by the soot running barefoot in the rubble to escape a Jew with a sniper rifle or a tank? At the photos of children with their limbs hanging? Of the little girl thrown against a concrete wall by a shell, her dead body stuck on that wall? Of rows of dead infants left to die in incubators after the fucking Israelis killed the doctors, nurses and staff, then shut off the electricity? Of the 100s of blue plastic bags filled with dead children waiting to be buried?

Do you want the baby killers to own Gaza, the West Bank and Jordan and parts of Syria and all of Lebanon and maybe a chunk of Egypt and the part of Arabia named by the Al Sauds?

Do you think Bahrain is going to escape unharmed if the fucking Israelis use nuclear weapons in Iran because they've got away Scot free while most of the world hates them for what they have done and are still doing? Scientists in Bahrain are already testing the air for nuclear fallout from the bombs dropped on Iranian nuclear sites by Israel and Trump. (According to expert nuclear physicists not owned by the U.S. deep state or the Zionists, Israel has already used small nuclear weapons with very low radiation when it bombed Beirut Port and Tartus in Syria and possibly in Yemen. As you know, they have impunity for all their crimes.)

While you've ignored the deaths of over 10,000 children, your own spawn follow in your footsteps. Your oldest son, television cameras pointed at him, microphones lined up in front of him, in his quaint British accent and a serious look on his smarmy face, condemned the Palestinians who cut through the undefended Gaza siege fence, then set about capturing Israeli military personnel and illegal colonial settlers. He did not condemn, not one word of condemnation, of the filthy pigs mass-murdering Palestinians in Gaza or setting villages on fire in the West Bank.

Why did the Palestinian militias carry out the most brilliant military operation of this century? To bargain the release of the Israelis they'd captured for the release of 1,000s of Palestinians, many innocent and not charged with any violation of code or law, being violently abused and tortured in the horrid jails and secret camps of the murderous thug Zionists.

Accept this fact: Palestinians have the legal right to use arms for Resistance to the Occupation and Siege.

Did you truly fall for the atrocity pornography spread by Biden and Netanyahu? Palestinians did not behead babies or bake them in ovens. They did not engage in mass rape of settler women. They fought and killed during their escape and while taking prisoners, but the Israelis killed many more Israelis under their Hannibal Directive than did the Resistance. The Israelis admit using helicopter gunships to shoot at 100s of young people trying to escape from a music festival on the Gazan border. The Israelis admit to using tanks to blow holes in houses. Palestinians had no gunships, had no tanks.

Your son Salman was so proud of himself for condemning the acts of Palestinians who'd escaped the fences built around them, escaped momentarily the siege, the withholding of food and medicine and water and building materials, who were often killed as sport by the Satanic demons with whom you signed a silly document and gave land and residency on the island of Bahrain. Salman's pride never ends, does it?

Are you similarly proud? Do you think your abject betrayal of humanity for a bit of gold and silver from the Jews and protection of your neck by the U.S. military is worth the price you and your kids pay? Do you have a plan to spend Bahrain's wealth to build a Trump hotel or casino on the Gaza shore?

I've loved four men in my life. Three of them are dead, including the father of my only child, a man who refused to recognize her, never supported her in any way, but you, the first, are still alive.

I ask God why has He let you live? Why do I still think about you? While my love for you was deep and long, I despise what you've become even more than I despised you for your lies, your broken promises as if you believed it honorable to break them, for the wretched way you treated me in the end, for being guided by the treacherous Khalid.

Why do I feel that our relationship is unfinished? Is it because God wants me to complete a task set over 40 years ago? Must I tell and publish the stories at long last, bring out the unfinished books I've written about you, your uncles, your parents, your brothers, the history and events surrounding the personal stories woven in the threads connecting our lives?

I recently sang, in public, a song I wrote about you long ago and hadn't sung for over 20 years. After I sang it, two other musicians declared that it seemed to have come out of a musical theatre production. I told them that I'd actually intended it to be a part of play that I had begun writing over 40 years ago, when I was living in the grotty garret on Duke Street, St. James's, in the West End of London, maybe 20 minutes walk to our old hangout at the Dorchester.

I told them part of the story, how I'd talked with you in Fort Leavenworth after the death of King Edward VIII who'd abdicated the British throne to marry his love, Wallis Simpson. My song is called "Abdicate." Do you recall the conversation, sitting at the graduation dinner with me and others including Paul Raetz from the Command and General Staff College? Nothing is ever finished, says the Koran.

Caviar and Coups

Just remembered that when I left Bahrain last and returned to London in March 1981, I had a tin of iced Iranian caviar with me. It was a gift to me from a merchant in the Suq, that I'd hunted up specifically as a gift for my upstairs neighbor at the grotty garret.

I had to laugh today thinking that it was so easy to get Iranian caviar at the very time when you chaps were practicing your fictional terrorist operation (which I used to call your phony coup) and cooking up some blame for Iran. It's funny, that.

Is Trump's Syria Withdrawal Order a Quid Pro Quo for Russian Election Help? Really?

This is hard to understand, how a well-educated and widely read and respected reporter puts forth a ridiculous Russian conspiracy. Man, oh man, this seems like something one would hear in a small old-fashioned coffee shop in the old suq of Manama where the wi-fi is somehow interrupted. The thing is: 1000's of well-educated and important people read the extensive coverage given to certain events she provides.

I daily read a substantive, somewhat progressive blog about politics and security led by an expert document analyst who links directly to sources for facts, and a team – each with his/her own expertise -- who has worked together for years in different online formats and venues. I think it’s one of the best blogs using documentary evidence in narrow scope within their areas, with a sophisticated narrative.

However, it is not the only academically expert independent blog about politics and security and it’s become apparent to me that the lead blogger is not an expert in the complexities of the Middle East, nor are the other team members. Her summary of the conspiracy she believes the Mueller investigation will uncover, and as such she continues to promote to this very day, is that Trump is pulling the U.S. military out of Syria as Russia’s reward for its supposed interference in the 2016 election to get him elected, and that the agreement to do so was made manifest the minute he was sworn.

She’s covered a number of substantive issues and I greatly respect her work generally, but when she puts out opinion rather than documentation on Syria, when she advocates for continued U.S. presence there under any pretense, when it’s apparent that she doesn’t read deeply informed opinion such as she can give on her own research subjects, it lowers the quality of her work. It’s removed from documents. She fell for White Hat propaganda about chemical/gas attacks, repeatedly. Her crusade against Russia and Turkey is not quite up to the Mad Cow Maddow standard, but it approaches.

I don’t prefer to argue with her or her colleagues, especially the one whose habit is to demean those who disagree with their vaunted opinions. I don't seek the attention. I won’t name her, but I’m not going to sit still, see the crap folded in with the caviar.

She evidently believes war should be continued because Sultan Erdogan says he will bury the terrorist PKK-aligned Kurds in ditches after the U.S. leaves. She maybe never saw huffing and puffing, man-strutting. She leaves out the complex relationships between the parties in the war and went straight for the R2P propaganda line. She apparently doesn’t read the on-the-ground war reporting done by those with more years of experience than she has; there’s a couple with years of experience with online presence and summaries on Twitter.

So she says that Trump is basically allowing Kurds to be killed by Turks because either the Russians or the Turks or both have compromising evidence of actions taken by Trump which could be released and cause him more legal and political troubles.

She certainly doesn't understand why Erdogan has gone after Mohammed Salman for murdering Jamal Khashoggi, not even the nutshell version that Bonesaw is unfit for service in defense of the Holy Mosques including Jerusalem. She doesn't appreciate the wily Sultan.

Her team must be backing up her uninformed speculative opinion or they would argue with her in the commentary. I despise Trump too, for a long and lengthening list of dodgy actions he’s taken in the interests of himself and his spawn. However, I think it’s beyond silly to think that removing troops from Syria is a gift to Russia.

It’s a gift to Syria, but a small one, like a slice of good chocolate cake. It doesn’t mean that the schemes against Syria -- of the Turks, Kurds, Israelis, Kushner and Bolton-led neocons along with some dollar diplomacy from Mo Zayed and Bonesaw -- will just fade away.

Mujtahidd says Bonesaw wants to be Warrior Prince of a big war with American bombs and bombers following his and Mo Zayed's catastrophic failure in Yemen, whilst Netanyahoo and Trump both need a serious diversion to escape pending legal woes. He suggested that the Mattis's resignation as Sec Def wasn't merely in opposition to Trump's demand that the troops be removed from Syria since "We've defeated ISIS except for one percent that neighbor Turkey" will clean out, but because Trump is determined to attack Iran and Mattis knows that Iran will retaliate against our forces and interests in the Persian Gulf.

Trump doesn't care, then, because he owes favors to whoever has been pulling his anti-Iran strings for money. Maybe he is pulling U.S. troops out of Syria to clear the path for Israel to start another war it can't fight for itself. I don't know. He's got some issues.

If only things were so simple as U.S. troops and mercenaries getting out of a mess we sure don’t need in Syria after years of kowtowing to wingnuts -- and all as a favor to Russia from Trump because they engaged in activity promoting his candidacy. It’s hard to believe a serious blog would put out tripe like that.

Dispute & Diplomacy Over 4 Persian Gulf Islands

Listening to the United Nation General Assembly speeches this week, I heard Shaikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan demand that Iran give up possession of the strategic and resource-rich Persian Gulf islands of Abu Musa and the two Tunbs to different historical claimants, namely the states of Sharjah and Ras Al Khaima, or, in the alternative, consent to let the International Court of Justice decide which country or countries have the right to them.

This is not a new demand. I wrote a lengthy term paper at university in the mid-1970s about the 1971 independence of Bahrain and formation in the Persian Gulf of the U.A.E. It included this matter.

( Aside: my research and result so fascinated my professor that he maintained a copy and was able to discuss it with me over 40 years later. I found that he'd used some of my work without attribution, but never mind, that happens at universities, students know it. He's gone now.)

Most people who hear the demands of the Arab states with respect to the three islands claimed by the U.A.E and Iran do not know or recall that there were actually four Persian Gulf islands involved before Iran took control of the three disputed islands. The fourth was the British Protectorate of Bahrain, ruled in some aspects by the Sunni Al Khalifa family for over 180 years by 1971, but also by other countries historically, including Iran.

The matter is multi-dimensional but a pedestrian summary would include: Bahrain had and has a majority Shia population with religious, family and other ties to Iran; aspirations for freedom, equality and dignity by the entire population, but especially the under-served Shia segments and those who know discrimination in many ways; a plebiscite asking if Bahrainis wanted to align with Iran or be independent; they heard promises from your family and the Brits of a constitution and rights and chose independence; the U.K. made a secret deal with the Shah, trading independence for Bahrain -- rather than restoration of Bahrain as a historical Iranian province -- for the restoration of Iran's historic right to Abu Musa and the two Tunbs.

Influential factors have now changed. One of importance is that there's a Bahrain causeway connected to historical Bahrain some 18 miles long with special lanes for members of certain tribes on both sides. Tanks and armored personnel carriers rolled across that bridge to help your family and friends maintain power in 2011, and remain to this day, along with paid mostly Sunni mercenaries from other countries used to alter the demographic balance and suppress dissent in all forms.

To be fair to Iran, if the original 1971 deal is to be renegotiated, if the two member states of the U.A.E. who claim Abu Musa, Lesser and Major Tunbs AND the fourth island, Bahrain, all want to do what's fair, then the causeway built by the malign actor Saudi Arabia and a debt trap, must be immediately given to Iran, along with the full extent of territory stolen from the Arab Shia population by the Al Sauds in their historical rampage across Arabia.

The planned causeway to Qatar could be built and Bahrain, then aligned with Iran, could share in the immense gas wealth and form a new, peaceful partnership. The fishermen of Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah could resume fishing or buy shares in luxury hotels to be built on the islands.

You want something significant, then you give something significant, right? That's what happens in negotiations between equals. Some underestimate their opponent.
